
Just a few hours ago, the Associated Press app on my phone spit out an alert announcing the death of Kim Jong-Il. The long time North Korean dictator died of a heart attack on 2330 GMT Friday – which begs the question, why didn’t we know until now?
Kim Jong-Un, Kim Jong-Il’s youngest son, will probably replace him as successor, however, it hasn’t been officially announced; there is a possibility of a power struggle. If there is, let’s hope the rest of the world isn’t pulled into it.
