The holidays bum me out. I mean, really really bum me out. I’m sure a psychoanalyst could probably figure out why, but for the most part it’s unfounded. There are some minor things that I’m sure could be attributed to my frowny face, but I could never really put my finger on it.
Luckily for me (insert sarcasm) my health has been adversely affected by my attitude over the last few weeks. I’m a firm believer in the Law of Attraction so I only have myself to blame. The best way to fix my health, is to change my attitude… but when you get in a rut, it can be extremely difficult to get those positive vibes flowing again.
I woke up this morning way later than I usually do. I had the day off, and in an attempt to shore up some energy and keep away the ickies for the holidays, I decided to sleep in. The first thing I did after I got up (well, after the biological necessities) was jump on my computer and check my email. It was then that it hit me.
Needless to say I was baffled. I couldn’t think of a good reason to have sooo many emails from Youtube & Twitter. I do have a bunch of videos posted, but they didn’t get that many views (nor did I expect them to.) I’ve mostly used YT as a cheap therapist – to talk about what was on my mind, and to get things off my chest. I had to get to the bottom of this.. and did so quickly. JAW-DROP! I got a little choked up. Here are 2 amazing JVloggers (Japan(ese) video bloggers) who decided to give me a shout out! And for what? Well, just because. I didn’t know what to say or do. A thousand things were going through my mind, and it took me a while to sort everything out, but this is JUST what I needed to get me out of my rut. THIS is what the holidays are about – friendship and kindness just because. So THANK YOU to The Mully’s! You’ve made my holiday very special. I’m happy to know you and look forward to more videos in the future!
While we’re on the topic of friendship, there was another Youtuber who spoke about it in the past. Below is my feedback on that video. I honestly think internet relationships can be just as special (or more so) than those you cultivate locally.
